Correr juegos pirateados en la PS2 (Instalá funtuna)

Como máximo podes instalar 6 juegos en un pendrive de 30GB, depende del juego obviamente God of War II (considerado el mejor juego por muchos) pesa 9GB extraído. Si pesa más de 4GB tenes que usar OPL (aunque yo use OPL para todos).

Yo instalé God Of War II, GTA San Andreas, KillZone, Metal Gear Solid 3, Baldur, y se llenó.

Como usar internet en la ps2 a través de una computadora:

Pasá los juegos al pendrive usando Open PS2 Loader.

Luego de la instalación para bootear FreeMCBoot tenés que encender la PS2 sin el CD y darle a Browser seleccionar la memory card en donde instalaste funtuna y dale redondo redondo. Los MP4 solo los reproduce como audio usando Simple Media System(SMS) no soporta videos en HD , sólo probé con videos de youtube en 360 con el siguiente comando: yt-dlp -f 134+140 video_url y luego lo transformé a avi usando este comando: ffmpeg -i input.mkv -map 0:v:0 -map 0:a:0 -c:v mpeg4 -vtag xvid -b:v 3000k -vf scale=880:-1 -ac 2 -c:a libmp3lame -b:a 224k -af "aresample=matrix_encoding=dplii" output.avi

Como jugar desde el pendrive con Funtuna, también lo podés hacer con un cable ethernet usando el servidor SAMBA (archivos compartidos de windows)

Como instalar juegos ps2 desde el pendrive

Sólo necesitás copiar el iso al pendrive, pero si el iso es muy grande tenés que usar usb util en windows, no sé cual sería la alternativa para linux. OPL Manager solo te sirve para cambiar el nombre del iso y detectar si es un iso válido.

Tenes que poner en la carpeta DVD para que los lea.

Tenes que descargar con el comando ia download RedumpSonyPS2NTSCU ia download RedumpSonyPS2NTSCU2 (te va a descargar tdos los juegos en 7z tenes que descomprimir con 7z x file.7z` y dejarlos como ISO en la carpeta DVD (la ps2 te crea la carpeta automáticamente) si no la tenes te crea. OPL no lee archivos 7z solo iso.

Si tenes poco espacio hace esto. Agarrá un pendrive de 8 gigas para arriba. Descargá ahi el juego 7z descomprimí el juego en tu PC y después movete a /mnt/usb y con iso2opl (agarrá el iso de tu PC y pasalo a tu usb).

Cuando el ISO extraido es mas grande que 4GB.

Como instalar el GTA San Andreas (es un juego grande porque pasa los 4GB).

cd /mnt/usb
mkdir DVD
cd DVD

Instala internetarchive el comando:

python -m venv internetarchive
source internetarchive/bin/activate
pip install internetarchive
ia configure etc...

ia download RedumpSonyPS2NTSCU "Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas (USA) (v3.00).7z"
7z x "Grand\ Theft\ Auto\ -\ San\ Andreas\ \(USA\)\ \(v3.00\).7z" -o/home/user/Downloads

Te lo va a descomprimir como SLUS-algo y te va a crear una carpeta tenes que sacar la ISO de esa capreta solo deja solo el iso en DVD sin la carpeta de RedumpSonyPS2NTSCU.

USO ISO2OPL pero ojo solo para juegos que cuando descomprimis el iso pesa mas de 4GB si pesa menos ponelo en la carpeta /mnt/usb/DVD

NO USES SPLIT DIRECTAMENTE FUE UN GRAVE ERROR ME HIZO PERDER TIEMPO TENES QUE USAR ISO2OPL si estas en windows no se tambien existe creo

ISO2OPL hace que el juego sea mas grande solo usalo si el juego pesa mas de 4GB. Si pesa menos cuando lo EXTRAES pasalo asi tal cual.

Por ejemplo de esa lista usaria God Of War con el ISO2OPL pero los demas lo pondria en DVD.

El directorio DVD solo se usa para los ISO (menores de 4GB) sino tenes que usar iso2opl

Los buscas usando el comando: ia list RedumpSonyPS2NTSCU | grep -i colossus y luego ia download RedumpSonyPS2NTSCU "el_nombre.7z" y a veces el juego está en ia list RedumpSonyPS2NTSCUPart2 | grep -i resident.

Pero aca porque soy bueno te doy el comando directamente (necesitas un pendrive de 32 gigas). No hagas descargas paralelas es decir ejecutar varias veces ia download porque te cortan la descarga al menos a mi me paso eso. Hacelo de esta forma y tenes que poner todo dentro de una carpeta DVD (el iso descomprimido no el 7z).

Ojo si el juego pesa mas de 4GB no lo vas a poder cargar directamente en tu USB, tenes que descargarlo en tu PC primero (God Of War pesa mas de 4GB).

  1. Keep your USB as FAT32.

  2. Extract the ISO to your computer’s internal drive (which supports large files) first:

  3. Use a tool to split the ISO. The easiest way on Arch Linux is using split:

Para eliminar un juego borrá los archivos que tengan el ID que aparecen en ul.cfg(NO TOQUES EL UL.CFG) y borrá la el juego que no te gusta (OJO crea una copia antes y anda borrando los caracteres especiales) a veces te va a tirar un error tipo

Si te tira eso abrí de nuevo el ul.cfg y borrá un caracter mas y volvé a probar a ver si funciona, suerte XD a mi me funcionó

Pero creá el backup antes.
